In this fairly dark restaurant, the wine WAS impenetrably black. Wonderfull jammy black fruits nose, that opened up nicely over the evening. Mega fruit with huge tannins. Not everyones cup of tea, or bottle of wine, but I can't get enough of this stlyle of ozzie shiraz blockbuster. Superb, and I think will merit higher scores as it develops some secondary nuances.
