Thursday, December 31, 2015 - The wine was very rusty brown and brick colored with medium legs. Unfortunately there was heavy sediment in the bottle and I ruined the first bottle by decanting it. The second bottle however was wonderful with aromas of blackberry, black currant (cassis), fig, forest floor, mushroom, black pepper and sherry. On the palate this is a very full bodied silky textured wine with hints of blackberry, sherry, chocolate, and black pepper.
