Wednesday, April 18, 2007 - Tasting Group Dinner - Spain (Solera, Minneapolis): Definitely the best of the lineup. The nose is actually quite restrained, offering up interesting hints of iron, smoke, and gunpowder. No VA going on here. Sappy cherries on the palate. Fiercely tannic; much more so than the 2000 or 2003. Very promising.
