Wednesday, March 17, 2021 - This wine opens with a pale fresh colour and an initially muted nose with obvious sulfur/match stick character that dissipates quickly on opening and pouring. The nose shows classic CdG white flowers, white peach, Myer lemon and limestone. The palate is quite round in shape with lovely yellow and white stone fruit characters balanced with citrus and limestone minerality. There is great drive and character that adds to the balance of this wine which is drinking very well now but which will continue to age with grace under Diam GC.
