Thursday, April 27, 2017 - Beautiful floral, peach and nectarine nose; a bit sugary on the palate without the necessary acid to carry it . Acceptable fruit in the mouth at first but fades quickly. Short finish and lacks power of the 2014 vintage. A spatlese replica that is not all that successful. No botrytis evident. Update-- with more time in the bottle, this wine has come out with much more fruit showing. Raising it to 89.
