Saturday, November 19, 2022 - On this particular evening, this showed an extra level of presence and weight. I was a little surprised by the richness and glossy texture of the wine. There were notes of apples, tropical fruits, smoke, and minerality on a creamy palate. The wine did gain energy with air, but never fully shook the richness to show the full verve that I know that this wine should have. A delicious wine, but may just need more time before opening another bottle.
