Monday, May 8, 2023 - This is the oldest Tablas Grenache Blanc I have tasted. This has developed a lanolin/wet wool aspect that reminds me of an aged German Riesling. Mostly in the nose, but also apparent in the mouth. Not sure I don't prefer this grape on the younger side. Nothing wrong with this wine, even though it is on the wrong side of CT's drinking window, it is considered "mature" on the Tablas wine chart. Reminds me of what California wineries used to sell as "grey Riesling." Very, very delicate and quite light on its feet. 4-12-15-7: 88/100.
