Monday, August 25, 2014 - Dark purple in glass, still clear at halo. Aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry. Flavors are still vibrant and fresh, showing blackberry compote, cassis and cigarbox, with tannins fully integrated, sweet and silky, and a wonderful long finish. Still plenty of life in this vintage, surely wish this hadn't been our last bottle. Certainly drinking at its peak, and will for several more years. Decanted 3 hours.
