Saturday, May 25, 2013 - Medium gold color. Aromas of toasted nuts, vanilla, nougat, and lemon wood polish. The palate here is overpowering in the oak presence with heavy toasted vanilla bean, alcohol, and bitter wood notes that dominate, leading into a slightly resinous lemon finish that lingers. A disappointment as a drink but well received for the sentiment behind it. Drink up.
