Saturday, April 9, 2016 - Classic Monte Rosso fruit - this is a slightly dialed down version of the 2001 vintage. Nose of dark fruit, white/black pepper, and slight herbs. Palate is the same with medium acidity keeping it fresh. This is very good alone, and gets even better with fig & onion jam.
