Saturday, April 27, 2024 - Cellared in ideal conditions over the last 9 years, vibrant blueberries and dark cherries are the backbone flavor profile of this well crafted wine. There are definitely intriguing layers that include spices such as sage, black pepper, and thyme. A light cola, vanilla, and hints of almond show up on the taste buds as well. Definitely well done and has aged very nicely. At 14.5% ABV the balance of alcohol, tannin and acid is on point and the finish is long. This is an exceptional wine now, and will most likely become better and more complex over the next few years.
