Friday, March 18, 2022 - Quite singular, and almost not very nice (but I did like it). Funky nose, with some VA and a hint of Brett that seemed to grow with time, and just a hint of tart blackberry fruit. Had the tomato-juice savouriness I associate with Loire Cab Franc more than Gamay, and plentiful acidity. Concentrated in flavour terms, but pretty light and crisp in feel. Overall, it just about worked!
