Monday, August 12, 2019 - Deep and dark crimson for a pinot. Hint of purple. At the same time, nicely balanced, not overextracted. Thjs Sta Rita Hills is both dark and light on its feet. with Black raspberry, clove and forest floor on the nose. A velvety, silky texture and medium/full mouth feel is the most prominent aspect. It tastes like raspberry and game with medium plus acidity. The body is medium/full. Nice balanced long finish.
