Once again very good, enjoyed this earlier tonight with Kim and good CT wine buddy neighborbill and spouse Debbie with dinner at the Lake Hickory CC. Too expensive to be a reasonable QPR but highly recommend this wine. Lighter purple then previous bottles, well structured, tannins and oak soft with ongoing maturation and currently very well balanced and elegant, in prime drinking window with further cellaring potential for at least 3-5 years but don't necessarily anticipate significant further improvement. Nose softening with red cherry, vanilla, blueberry and muted floral tones. Primary flavors included well balanced subtle oak, dark stone fruit, cassis, black pepper and blueberry. Definitely recommend this wine despite price point, too expensive to be a reasonable QPR. Start drinking holdings now, this wine will remain good for years to come but at this point I see very little further improvement.
