Friday, July 19, 2013 - Bottle decanted about 45 minutes. Still dark colored; not inky, but opaque purple with no evident bricking. Oak, cassis and blue fruits on the nose. Plums and raspberries, and a little gravel, on the palate. Balanced acidity. Good stuff but I kept thinking this should be better for the price. Still has life to go before it peaks, I think.
