Wednesday, April 3, 2019 - Colour: pale straw
Nose: nectarine, peach, lemon, lemon peel, oranges, lime. Dried papaya, pineapple. Lots of new French oak, vanilla, butterscotch. Tropical fruit, passion fruit. Touch of creaminess from lees.
Palate: lemon, lemon peel, oranges. Nectarine. White peach. Tropical, papaya, pineapple. Lots of fresh splintery French oak, vanilla. Some richness from lees, slightly glycerolic mouthfeel. Some drying tannins from the oak. Fresh lemony acidity, some crunchy phenolics. Very rich and full bodied, 13,5% alcohol. Very oaky but very complex.
