Friday, April 24, 2009 - Proper claret. Typcal Gruaud meaty, slightly barnyardy complexity on top of classic cedar and blackcurrant. Drinking beautifuly now, tannins pretty much fully resolved, acidity fresh, fruit to match but all melded together with the nicely-developed tertiary characteristics. I may struggle to let my remaining bottles develop much further. ****1/2
