Thursday, October 28, 2010 - Nose - wonderful, rich Cab Sauv nose; summer fruits, but with an ever so slight vegetal note; some cigarbox. Palate - dark, black summer fruits; sweet pencil leads; quite detailed and complex, with secondary layers evident. Long finish with some tannins. Almost fully mature. Classic, brilliant Bordeaux. 2nd best wine tonight.
