Friday, December 1, 1995 - Hugh’s bottle, from Marin Wine Cellar. Yet another splendid Château d’Yquem. Not as massive as the ‘59 or ‘67 but the usual superb balance is on display, it seems more like the ‘71 in size. Lots of tangerines and honey. Perfect acidity. A medium heavyweight, graceful and luscious.
