Sunday, August 6, 2017 - Delicious and elegant Barolo, pure and clean fruit. Interesting to try a light Barolo after a week in Montalcino, the Sangiovese and Nebbiolo can be very close at times. This one could easily pass for a Sangiovese but the fresh roses reveals the Nebbiolo origin. Beautiful wine on the refreshing side, highly drinkable already but will benefit from a couple of years in the cellar.
