Sunday, February 11, 2018 - I decanted the wine for about 4 hours. It opened up nicely it was smooth and ready to drink. The wine looks garnet in color with a hint of Rutherford dust that I have grown to expect from a Hewitt Cab. The wine also had hints of blackberry, black pepper, tobacco and light chocolate smell. This wine will age nicely over the next 10 years.
