Sunday, July 29, 2018 - At tasting. Brief note. Nose and palate are in good alignment with each other showing big sweet red fruit that remains juicy and somehow soft, ground coffee, dark soil, and plenty of extract. As big and young tasting as this is it remains very well focused with taut acidity and firm drying tannins. Long finish remains simple but there is definitely underlying material that will come with more age.
