Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Chilled approximately 1 hour prior to serving. Pours a pale, slightly cloudy gold. On the nose there's asian pear, spices, barrel, chicken broth, and more. One of the most expressive, interesting bouquets I've ever smelled in a white wine. Once you start sipping, your palate explodes in a dazzling wash of citrus rind, baking spice, grass, umami, pear, and more. This was incredibly fresh and vibrant, with acidity for days that worked to balance the richness. A gentle, medium length finish cleaned everything up. One of the best white wines I've had in a long time.
