Sunday, September 6, 2020 - This is a big full bodied wine, at 15.0 abv. Lots of ripe fruit.
It carries the alcohol well though, not too much heat.
Plenty of spiciness but no other obvious oak elements.
Still youthful although the tannins are smooth, and the wine is drinking well. I intend to hold my second bottle a couple years longer.
