Tuesday, September 6, 2011 - Dark ruby with a tawny cast; fairly nice legs. Aroma is mild overall - peppery, alcoholic and tannic. Tannins are still fairly strong for the taste and mouthfeel, despite the age. Pretty earthy and spicy, with some fruity undercurrents of blackberry and cherry. Very dry on the finish.
