Saturday, January 2, 2021 - On opening very sedate and soft with that toasted oak and fine grained finish. I assumed with 60% pet sirah it could go for some years in bottle. Hoping it perks up a bit after aeration. It's very likely on it's last stages of its drinking window but still enjoyable for a creamy soft palated Bordx blend.
60% Petite Sirah, 20% Malbec, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Zinfandel, 3% Syrah
An hour later... Gasses passed, uncovering the acid to bring balance and added a little more grip. Very tasty, glad I tried it.
