85 Points

Sunday, December 17, 2023 - Still light colour - no signs of ageing. The nose is dominated by citrus, with a slight hint of the bakery. A bit underwhelming freshness to begin with. I thought it was a bit 'flat.' However, with time - and probably temperature - it firms up and becomes distinctly deeper and fresher. Quite surprisingly. Not one of the best vintages I've had of this wine. So far (and I've not gone into the 2008s yet), they are 1996 and 2002.
