Monday, February 3, 2014 - I opened this to drink during the Super Bowl. It went very well with a spread of baguette slices and cheeses, chips with humus, and various sliced deli meats.

Dark purple in color. Wonderful nose of dark cherry and leather. On the palate lots of dark fruits, olives, cassis, and a little cedar. Tannins are still firm, but not annoying. Fairly long finish.
