Saturday, October 8, 2016 - Decades of 6 (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): Decanted for 1.5 hrs. Needed we believe. To be honest following the 100 points it got recently by Jeb Dunnuck we were expecting great things from this wine but it did not deliver. We wonder if this is a characteristic batch. Following 1 bad bottle the second was healthy but muted, quite a lot of fruit and light touch of spice but nowhere near the expressive side or complexity. We have one more bottle that we will forget for a few years and hope. 91 at best from us
