Tuesday, January 14, 2014 - I brought this to dinner, not having tasted it before. Expected it to be alive an interesting but holy shit this was good. Brooding, dark with serious tannins and a sleek structure. Still full of fresh fruit. So much more complexity with 30 minutes of air.

This could easily stand up to a lot of Grand Cru Burgundy of the same age, and has a lot more to give.
