Sunday, September 17, 2017 - Opened tasted then given two hours. Needed some time to blow off the funkiness , but it did start to return later. Savory, tobacco, soy sauce, cedar and some earthiness on the nose. Fully mature tannins . Mature Cab. Still has nice fruit and balancing acidity. Good balance on the fruit and savory notes. Has some really nice ripe cherry fruit, excellent tartness, decently long finish and the tannins are hanging in there.
