Sunday, October 6, 2013 - Elegance in a Bottle (Pine Close): Yellow gold colour.
Aromatic tropical fruits on the nose. Only slights hints of oak.
On the palate, tasted bananas, pineapples, and as the wine opened up with more air, flavours of roasted nuts became very obvious. Initial tartness on the finish also gave way to a more balanced sweet finish with more air. Nice creamy full-bodied white wine. But not as nice at the 2008 André Perret Condrieu Chery I had before. Drink up now, Condrieus shouldn't be kept for too long.
