Saturday, May 11, 2019 - When first poured this wine was closed and it was evident it needed decanting. I decanted it for 1.5 hours before tasting.
This unassuming village wine had a pretty aroma of cherry, raspberry, wet stone, and a bit of forest floor showing. On the palate were vibrant cherry and cranberry flavors with some spice. Medium finish. Great value find. Could probably age for 2-3 more years.
