Wednesday, February 27, 2019 - This champagne is really something. I am rating it 96 with the potential in future to become a perfect wine. This is extremely young and primary but you can see burried under the youthfulness a 100 point wine in the making. Extremely complex and each sip reveals a different flavor than the last. Lemon, smoke, green apple. Some have referred to this wine as the Montrachet of champagne and I agree. Very acid forward in a Burgundian pleasing way. I can definitely see this upstaging 1996 Dom Perignon with bottle age. I will try my hardest to keep my hands off it for now!
