Tuesday, February 11, 2020 - Barrel Tasting at Sylvie Esmonin with Sylvie (Gevrey Chambertin - Clos St Jacques): PnP bottle. More red fruited, more juicy and less overt than the 2018 line up. Plenty of cherry in the red and black spectrum, good meat and spice throughout. Refined presence with still grippy, firm tannin. Needs 5+ years in the cellar to open up. 92+
