Tuesday, November 13, 2018 - Opened to breathe. The nose presents with mineral, alcohol (16.5% wow) and some cedar or oak. Dense, port-like in intensity with sweet red fruit, more alcohol, subliminal tannins (they are there, hiding) and a short acid finish. Really interesting and accessible despite its youth, this really needs food because of its relatively high alcohol content. Tonight with a picnic dinner, gorgonzola and mortadella.
