Thursday, March 25, 2021 - Pale ruby with hints of browning on the rim. Medium bodied and medium to high acidity with well integrated tannins. Dried herbs and flowers with hints of sour cherry,violet and leather on the nose and palette. Medium length finish. There are some balance issues upon tasting. But overall, a solid chianti classico riserva that goes very well with a roast prime rib or pan seared ribeye. Drinkable now.
