Saturday, January 13, 2024 - Not bad, but would not buy again. A little spicy, with strong cherry notes. But off-cherry, a little like cough syrup. The nose is blandish. Still not that bad. If blind tasting, I might have thought this was a zin. It was still totally drinkable, but I’ve consumed some rather nice Pinots lately, which leaves me a little spoiled.
Sorry, but I think this wine falls below 90, which is below my preferred drinking threshold.
