Saturday, January 6, 2024 - 30 min in the glass was sufficient to open this up. This bottle was a less structured wine than the 1999 enjoyed about 3 weeks ago. This was a fully mature wine with some fruit. Balance and finish were excellent. This is in a great place and there’s no sense in waiting other than for academic purposes. A highly enjoyable wine that paired well with grilled octopus, wagyu carpaccio and chicken involtini. Revisit 2025
