Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - Still young. Took 3 hours in a decanter to show. The nose is plum, raspberry and green stems and a subtle earthy element, dry soil. Poised and bold, dense in three directions. Bright cherry fruit with peppery spice. The tannins bite hard but can't mask a beautiful finish of rocks and mocha.
