Tuesday, May 2, 2006 - The absolute favorite wine of the tasting for everyone. Medium garnet color. Very complex and aristocratic nose with all the typical nebbiolo perfumes, but avoiding any hint of rusticity. On the palate, very silky and fine combining aspects of a fine burgundy with the tannic structure and quality of a first growth or super-second Bordeaux. Even at this young stage, simply great length and flavor authority. Much much better than the first bottle I had a year ago. Glad I have some more of this!
