Tuesday, March 28, 2023 - Christian Clerget v Georges Lignier shootout (WS): Probably the most controversial bottle of the tasting, the bottle on our table was highly reductive, redolent of funk and sulfur. Initially loose knit on opening, with air the palate tightens up, notes of stones and red fruits. The sulfur note lightened a little bit with air but did not blow off altogether, and I have some reservations about it, however other tables did not seem to have as much quibbles about this.
