Friday, August 4, 2023 - Dark red color with limited transparency. Plum, dust, blackberry, and cherry on the nose. Palate is chewy and rustic with plum, licorice, loam, and blackberry that carry into a tannic and acidic medium-long finish. This settles down over the course of 3 hours open but needs more time to really come together. Drink the normal 2013 Altesino Brunello over this right now if you have the choice between the two.
