Sunday, December 31, 2023 - 60% Serine and 40% Syrah. Distinct smokiness standing out on the nose, folded in with an otherwise floral and rich set of aromas. On the palate it was a true mouthful, with tobacco on top of classic (to me) Syrah creamy body. Strong tannins on the finish. This finished middle of the pack in our blind and comprehensive tasting of Northern Rhone. (Faury VV and Barruol Crozes-Hermitage Tiercerolles took top places).
