Sunday, October 2, 2022 - Aromatically it is fresh as a daisy and just full of sunshine. Peach, wild strawberries, pineapple and some emerging petrol add up to a wonderful fruit salad of a nose. The palate is not massively concentrated but obviously sweet nonetheless with quite a youthful profile (no surprise there!) and very respectable if not exactly piercing acidity. Some baby fat on the midpalate but tightens and cleans up nicely towards the finish which is pretty fresh. Perhaps one might expect a bit more chisel and poise from these origins mut then if I recall correctly this is not an expensive wine at all so the QPR is probably more or less on point.
