Saturday, December 30, 2017 - Dark in colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, capsicum, olive, toast and pencil shavings. Palate is rich in black fruits (whilst not being overly fruity) with some savoury herb (bay leaf) and cola flavours. Nice high, powdery tannins and good high acidity. Long finish. Would be great with any type of stew.
