Monday, October 14, 2019 - Lighter in color. A bit of stink in the nose when 1st opened soon goes away, yielding raspberry and spice.These flavors continue thru to the taste, which finishes with a citrusy tartness together with muted oak. More Oregonian and Burgundian than Californian. Not a powerhouse, this is more a Beaujolais-style Pinot. Like most California Pinots, somewhat overpriced.
