Friday, April 24, 2020 - This Pinot progressed across the spectrum as we had the bottle open for about 90 minutes. Initially it was a little muted and restrained showing some sea air and crunchy cranberry. Toward the end of the bottle it showed more black fruits and tar. In the middle I got some pine and blue fruit notes. It was a fun bottle to drink and it paired well with smoked pork loin with mustard sauce on the patio poolside. I don't think any addition aging is necessary at all, go ahead and enjoy this summer with bbq fare.
