Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - Almost full body and more forward for a Barolo, this is a tannic beast that will probably kill another 10 years without a glitch. Darker fruits, menthol, oregano and new oak are the aromas it evokes. On the palate, some licorice, fresh cut rose petals, round yet thick tannins and some vanillin. Finishes medium and could pair great with a rich braised oxtail or short ribs. Always a consistent and well priced Barolo that packs a punch.
