Very nice Dark fruit flavors, but the tannin you could cut with a knife. I think with the tannin being so pronounced it hid the acidity. The nose came around once you gave the wine time in the glass, but when it did it was all Barolo. Color was dark, but for one bottle I did notice browning around the edge of my glass, but there was no hint of oxidation.
I will be hunting for more bottles, but these I will keep sleeping in the cellar, but I will check in on them in about 2 years to see how the acidity is coming around.
